Garden Club

CFGC announces the new slate of officers for 2002-2003:

     President               Hilda Thompson
     1^st Vice President     Gretchen Lathrop
     2^nd Vice President     Linda Pou
     Secretary               Mari Owen
     Treasurer               Carol Hayes

A big “thank you” is extended to the outgoing officers under the very capable leadership of Linda Pou.

The new calendar year begins with the September 12^th, 2002 meeting at the CF Clubhouse at 7:30 PM.  The “requirements” for membership include:
     Love of gardening, study of horticulture, encourage
     civic beautification, conservation & pollution control
     in an atmosphere of FUN AND CORDIALITY.

Along these lines, monthly meeting programs have been developed featuring a variety of gardening topics with guest speakers.

CFGC is a member of the following:
     National Council of State Garden Clubs
     Deep South Region
     Laurel District
     Marietta Council of Garden Clubs
